Girls Track & Field Earn Runners-up at Mahoning County Championship

The AMS girls track & field team competed in the annual Mahoning County Championships at Boardman High School on Monday. The Falcons placed 2nd overall in a field of 14 teams.

Nilliana Boggs captured 1st in the High Jump clearing 4'6.0". Phoenix Patterson placed 2nd in the Shot Put (32'9.5") and 3rd in the Discus (66'3.0"), while Ma'Riyah Thomas added a runner-up finish in the 200M Dash by clocking a 28.69. London Wittway picked up 3rd place in the Long Jump (14'4.0"), while the 4x100M , 4x200M and 4x400M Relay teams all had 2nd place finishes.
