AMS Red Wrestling Competes at Madison Duals

The AMS Red wrestling team traveled to Madison on Saturday to compete in the Madison Duals. The Falcons went up against some strong competition and finished 2-3 on the day.
They defeated Madison (54-27) and Berea-Midpark (46-39) while dropping hard-fought matches to Aurora (59-29), Hudson (52-28) and Barberton (42-27).
Jackson Gaither and Jake Berni went undefeated on the day with Jordan Warren, Preston Bliss and Dom Tait all going 4-1. Warren and Devin Beaudis both recorded 3 pins on the day. Gaither, Berni, Bliss, Tait, Trinity Hernandez, D.J. Rodgers and Harlan Jones all had pins. Jones and Berni each had a technical fall to account for the scoring.
The team will head to the Streetsboro Bash on Saturday, January 17 for their next competition.
