AMS Red Boys Basketball Tops Girard

The AMS 7th grade Red boys basketball team defeated Girard on Thursday in a non-conference game 51-40 to move their overall record to 9-5 on the year.
The Falcons were led in scoring by Carmello Rowe who scored a season-high 19 points which included 3 three-pointers. Jalen Young finished with 8 points, while Trent Ferreri and Solomon Underwood both tallied 6 points. Jimmy Kagarise and Tyrell Tate both scored 4 points and Jaidyn Alamin and Jamonte Charlton scored 2 points each.
The Falcons will play at Warren White on Monday, January 26 in their final regular season game prior to the All American Conference Middle School Basketball Tournament.

The AMS 8th grade Red boys basketball team got back into the win column on Thursday with a 47-35 home victory over Girard.
Torry Easterly scored 22 points and Jordan Wolfe followed with 13 points. Michael Stubbs and Solomon Underwood both had 4 points, with Jayden Gardner and Levi Prozy each adding 2 points.
The team heads to Warren to play Warren White in their regular season finale on Monday, January 26.
