AMS Blue Wrestling Competes at Duals

The AMS Blue wrestling team went 2-3 on Saturday at the Austintown Middle School Duals hosted at Fitch High School. The Falcons won matches against Brookfield (42-24) and Lakeview (48-42) while falling against Hickory (41-27), Howland (48-18) and Jefferson (42-30).

Four wrestlers went 4-1 on the day: Bryce Kovacic, Bennett White, Makenna Murray and Giovani Chechitelli. Ben Dixon, Trinity Hernandez and Anderson Pflug each went 3-2 in matches. Pflug and Chechitelli both recorded pins.

The team will next be in action on Tuesday, January 13 when they travel to Mineral Ridge.
